Founding

Continental Conveyor was founded in 1963 by William G. Lynn as a primary supplier of specialized milling equipment and bulk material handling products and systems to the Canadian and worldwide asbestos industry. In the late 1970’s, as this industry waned, focus was shifted to other mining sectors including smelting, as well as pulp & paper, engineered wood products and biomass energy.

Through the years, facilities were enlarged, new manufacturing sites added and product lines expanded providing what is today one of the most comprehensive ranges of bulk material handling equipment available from a single source in the industry.

Today, Continental serves clients internationally, with its equipment operating across six continents.
